Call of Duty: Ghosts is a rapid first-person shooter set in the near future where the world is divided by the results of a global war. As part of a specialized operations unit called The Ghosts, players fight for their nation in a desperate battle against a highly trained, hostile enemy. The cinematic story mode throws the player into a range of action-packed situations from explosive set-pieces to tactical stealth infiltration, engaging in everything from huge battles to close quarters fighting in urban areas.

In gameplay terms Call of Duty: Ghosts combines highly responsive shooting with careful movement and access to a huge arsenal of contemporary weaponry, grenades and gadgets. Players participate in combat in a wide range of distinct, large-scale battlefields including jungles, deserts, underwater sections, space and heavily fortified cities, experiencing a series of well designed and memorably scripted missions which feature gameplay moments like commanding a military dog, piloting vehicles and battling desperate hordes of enemies.

Multiplayer continues with an in depth customisation options including the Create-a-Soldier feature, destructible and interactive maps which can offer dynamic battlefields, personalized load-outs, and a range of game modes.
Co-op players are catered for as well, with an Extinction game mode where teams compete against waves of enemies, whilst achieving objectives to unlock new weapons and functions. All in all, with excellent cinemas graphics, authentic sound effects and a tense story to go with the multiplayer action, Call of Duty: Ghosts is an explosive and compelling military shooter for offline play and for the web.
