Back to the Dawn is a story-driven prison RPG which combines the survival genre with elements of stealth, exploration and a substantial role-playing system into a thrilling escape experience. Taking on the persona of an investigative reporter that has been wrongfully imprisoned for revealing a dark conspiracy, the player finds themselves trapped inside a high-security prison filled with anthropomorphic animals where every choice leads you through your escape.
Living behind bars is a challenging, but always evolving challenge. The prison life revolves around establishing friendships with your inmates, gain their respect, finding a job for yourself to keep busy, learning and enhancing your skills and even uncovering secrets. While working around the clock to accomplish your tasks, players are free to either try and resolve conflicts through logic, diplomatically, with a stealthy approach, or simply by throwing punches!
The world of Back to the Dawn contains a huge array of quirky, entertaining and meaningful characters to encounter, each with their own life stories, ambitions and preferences, which are shaped and influenced based on your interactions, and forming alliances with certain people, and offending others can be of great impact on missions and future actions.
