GRAIN ROT For PC is a dark and atmospheric horror game that intends to give players a frightening and mysterious experience. Set in a remote and abandoned landscape, the player finds a strange disease that has consumed the grain in a large area, subsequently turning the rural countryside into a horrifying and unstable place.
Players search old farms, barn’s and empty fields to try and piece together the clues and find solutions to environmental puzzles to solve the mysterious illness that is corrupting the countryside. The dark, foreboding areas, along with eerie sounds and surprise events are intended to create a feeling of dread and constant alertness.
This game intends to bring players an element of psychological horror through exploration and survival instead of constant fighting. Players are also given limited resources to give a sense of helplessness and promote careful thinking and observation, coupled with odd sounds that surprise and can change the atmosphere in the surrounding areas.
