The Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered For PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn puts you inside a beautiful, surreal open world in the middle of the remnants of an abandoned society of Humans with nature taking control of most of their discoveries. You play as Aloy, an excellent hunter who must venture into the past world to uncover the secrets to what you are and the state of this strange, modern world.
The graphics of the Remastered edition enhances the beauty of what made the original amazing even further. The world of Horizon comes alive with high detail to character models, better graphics, even more intense terrain and visual effects within. This world consists of jungles filled with trees and wilderness all the way up to snowy peaks and outposts of tribes to primitive human ruins. It’s also home to harsh lands controlled by mechanical titans, in which are always stunning to experience.
Combat is a defining aspect of the Remastered game, and it is done marvelously. Using many different bows that offer strengths depending on the situation, various traps you craft and set out at locations. You can also use all of the elements available to destroy machines along with Aloy and its elemental attacks that take machines down level by level. All of the types of machines do have a weak point or something that will take down a machine effectively in the fastest manner possible, which players are forced to exploit.
Alongside the elements of hunting, and combat; there is exploration, quest-taking, many items to craft, a skill-tree you can advance through, and a complex story that you discover. All of these come together to create an engrossing experience that you never tire from, mostly due to the scenery that never becomes stale or overused, as well as all the fighting and story shown with amazing cutscenes.
Any players who are in to open world adventure games and exploration, role-playing or RPGs that share similar features of that, sci-fi and/or mystery or even character driven narratives would consider The Remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn to be a great experience.
