Kingdom Come: Deliverance II offers an expansive and believable medieval role-playing adventure where players will be immersed in a beautifully realized historical world filled with political machinations, personal drama and significant choices.
Players will continue to follow Henry’s story through a varied world that encompasses vast countryside, populated towns, dense forests and imposing castles, all designed with great attention to detail, historical accuracy and realism. Gameplay is realistic, putting players in the role of a person in the past who will need to learn swordplay, archery, sneak and diplomacy whilst also ensuring their provisions and armour are in good condition and that their equipment is properly maintained.
Combat requires skill and timing with sword slashes, blocking, parrying and dodging all playing a crucial part rather than button mashing.
In addition to the main story there is a whole world to explore with side-quests and characters and events all waiting to be discovered. Day and night cycles and realistic weather, along with an atmospheric soundtrack complete the effect that players really are living the lives of folk in a medieval kingdom. As players will learn by doing things, many of the games skills will develop organically as players use them through and over time resulting in a rewarding and realistic experience.
