What’s best about this game for me is how authentic the naval combat feels-observing the sonar and making sure the threats you are observing, in addition to managing your position as best you can and looking for windows to attack, will each feel like a meaningful decision.
Hunting down opponents unseen at the bottom of the ocean requires skill and planning, making each encounter engaging.
The simulation aspect of managing your submersible also comes across strongly, and while understanding all of the different systems you can employ takes a long while to grasp – and there is no shortage of complex controls to get to terms with – they reward a keen player by allowing for highly effective mission completion once mastered.
In Modern Naval Warfare, you will face difficult yet rewarding naval combat, a deep simulation of submarine operation, and compelling strategical combat in a challenging mixture of a challenging military strategy game, a submarine sim, and a game with tactical combat, but with enough simulation elements and depth to appeal to a specific sort of player, this is truly something else and more, an awesome strategy that has some great deal of variety for every single mission you participate in!
